General Statement | The Department of Education at Montana State University (MSU) is inviting applications for Assistant Professor in Educational Leadership. This position is a tenure-track academic year appointment. Selected faculty will have responsibilities for teaching (50%), Research and other scholarly activities (40%), and service (10%). We seek individuals who work professionally and effectively with diverse individuals, possess effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and are able to contribute positively to the academic success of the students and the mission of Montana State University. |

The Program | The Educational Leadership program develops and disseminates scholarship focused on leadership development, leadership practices and the improvement of schools serving rural and Indigenous communities. Faculty are expected to integrate scholarship, outreach, and teaching. The program offers a variety of graduate degrees in Educational Leadership (Master of Education, Education Specialist, Doctor of Education) as well as a Graduate School Superintendent Certificate and Doctor of Philosophy in Education with a focus on Educational Leadership. |
