We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a part-time (8 hours/week) Full Charge Bookkeeper in Minnetonka, Minnesota, 55343, United States. In this role, you will be performing various accounting tasks, including maintaining the General Ledger, generating Profit and Loss statements, and performing Journal Entries.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process General Ledger Accounting tasks including Profit and Loss statements and Journal Entries
• Utilize QuickBooks Desktop version and Microsoft Excel for ledger-related tasks
• Collaborate with the existing team to ensure smooth transition and continuous operation
• Work flexibly depending on demand and adjust to varying schedules
• Oversee the maintenance of accurate financial records and ensure all accounting functions are performed effectively
• Evaluate and analyze cash flow, adjusting Journal Entries as necessary
• Contribute to the preparation of the annual budget
• Work alongside other internal team members familiar with processes for cross-training
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) in coordination with internal staff
• Collaborate with a long-term CPA for year-end processes.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to prepare and manage an Annual Budget
• Knowledge of Cash Flow Analysis
• Familiarity with General Ledger operations
• Experience in preparing Journal Entries, including Adjusting and Month-end Journal Entries
• Understanding of Profit and Loss statements
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
