| Job Description: |
Need 1 Full time, Temporary, Seasonal Ag Equipment Operator (SOC Code: 45-2091)/Bus Driver (SOC Code: 53-3052) to work in Olivia, MN.
From: 07/01/2024 - 07/31/2024
Work: 36 hrs./week, Mon. - Sat., 6 hrs./day
7:00am - 3:00pm.
OVERTIME: As required in Minnesota, all work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.
No work required on the worker’s Sabbath or Federal holidays, but work is required six (6) hours per day Monday through Saturday. All applicants must be able, willing, and qualified to perform all the work described, and must be available for the entire anticipated period of employment.
Effective Jan 1, 2024 per MN State Statute, employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) a year.

JOB DUTIES:
Ag Equipment Operator: Operate Agricultural equipment to till, plant, cultivate and harvest crops. Will be responsible for moving crops on the farm. Be able to operator forklifts and equipment used to move supplies or crops. Maintain, repair, and service farm vehicles. Must be able to work outdoors in dusty conditions and extreme heat/cold.
Bus Driver: Able to safely operate buses that are used to transport workers to and from worksites. Must show proof of accident-free driving record. Must have a CDL.
Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift items weighing 80 pounds repetitively throughout the workday. Must be able to work outdoors in dusty/dirty conditions, at extreme heat and cold inclement weather. Must be able to listen to, understand, and follow simple instructions of supervisors. Must be able to work in fields where ants, snakes and poison ivy are encountered.
Use of personal cell phone or other personal electronic device during working hours strictly prohibited except for work-related calls or emergencies and violation may result in immediate termination.
Workers should be able to work on their feet in bent positions for long periods of time. Allergies to ragweed, goldenrod, ext. may affect the workers' ability to perform the job. Workers are exposed to wet weather early in the morning and heat throughout the day while working in the fields. Temperatures may range from 30-100F. Workers may be required to work during occasional showers not sever enough to stop field operations.
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools, and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
