Job Description

 
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting
drives, motors, or belts, replacing filters, or doing other preventive
maintenance actions. Adjust functional parts of devices or control
instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges.
Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers,
hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring
instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices. Order parts,
supplies, or equipment from catalogs or suppliers. Diagnose mechanical
problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair
manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary. Assemble, install, or repair
wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing,
machinery, or equipment. Estimate costs to repair machinery, equipment,
or building structures. Record type and cost of maintenance or repair
work. Plan and lay out repair work, using diagrams, drawings,
blueprints, maintenance manuals, or schematic diagrams. Install
equipment to improve the energy or operational efficiency of residential
or commercial buildings. Fabricate or repair counters, benches,
partitions, or other wooden structures, such as sheds or outbuildings.
Paint or repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster,
drywall, or other parts of building structures. Operate cutting torches
or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. Lay brick to repair or
maintain buildings, walls, arches, or other structures. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: First and foremost, resonate with our

your 5+ years of commercial maintenance experience in plumbing,
electrical, drywalling, carpentry, and flooring in addition to your high
school diploma or equivalent vocational certification(s), proven
mechanical aptitude, and proficiency in reading assembly and blueprint
drawings to deliver exceptional maintenance facilities service to our
customers with minimal direct supervision. Be the eyes and ears in the
field, responsible for successfully completing service tickets in a
designated territory in a cost conscience, high-quality, timely manner.
Maintain clear lines of professional communication with lead
technician(s), field supervisor(s), field Manager(s), and office staff
on open issues and progress of all work assigned including thorough
documentation. Be flexible and cooperative with fellow employees and
customers while displaying a high level of professionalism. Follow all
policies and procedures, both organizational and otherwise, to ensure
proper and safe working conditions. Travel up to 500 to 2000 miles per
week to client sites and meet the demands of a flexible on-call
schedule. Provide your own reliable transportation (capacity to
transport tools and equipment (e.g. 16 ft., ladder, sheet rock, sewer
machine), valid driver\'s license, hand tools, and toolbox suitable for
the job (a list of those recommended will be provided). Be able to lift
up to 80 lbs., apply up to 200 pounds of torque, and perform work while
bending, stooping, standing, sitting, and lying down. \*\*\*\*\*
