We are in search of a Payroll Specialist to be a part of our team. The role demands meticulous attention to detail and organization skills, as it involves processing customer applications, keeping precise customer records, and addressing customer inquiries. The Payroll Specialist will also be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions. This position is based in Dallas, Texas, 75206, United States.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications
• Keep customer credit records up-to-date and precise
• Manage and update the HRIS system with information such as new hires, current employee updates, terminations, salary changes, and upload documentation into employee files
• Prepare and execute payroll cycles for both exempt and non-exempt employees adhering to the company's payroll practices using ADP Workforce Now
• Review timecards for non-exempt employees to ensure accuracy before processing
• Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulatory reporting requirements and guidelines
• Have a strong understanding of federal and state wage and hour laws
• Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive employee information and ensure all payroll information, files and records are maintained properly
• Handle and resolve employee inquiries and issues effectively with excellent communication skills
• Prepare necessary memos/communications for employees and managers
• Process pay adjustments, special payments, tax allocations, and employee deductions as required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Payroll Specialist role or similar
• Proven proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now software for payroll management
• Demonstrated experience with Full Cycle Payroll, including the ability to manage all stages independently
• Familiarity with Multi-state Payroll processing, understanding the various state laws and regulations
• Capability to Process Bi-weekly Payroll accurately and in a timely manner
• Experience in Reviewing Timesheets for irregularities and discrepancies
• Solid understanding of Payroll Law and its practical applications in payroll processing
• Knowledge of Voluntary Deductions, including how to manage and implement them in payroll calculations
