Reporting to the SVP, Consumer Loan Services the Manager, Quality
Control is responsible for developing and implementing a process which
delivers results on the quality of consumer loan originations. This
position will review established processes, credit policy, and
procedures to develop adequate testing for the adherence to major policy
and regulatory requirements. Additionally, this position will also be
responsible for building a new quality control team to support Consumer
Lending goals and continue its continuous improvement trajectory.
REQUIREMENTS 1. High school diploma or equivalent and minimum three
years of progressive Consumer lending experience. Equivalent combination
of education and experience will be considered. 2. Strong understanding
of Consumer Lending including credit attributes, underwriting, loan
processing, disclosures, documents, and post-closing activities. 3.
Ability to translate and summarize complex assessments and data into
understandable/actionable information and recommendations. 4. Experience
interpreting and applying federal and state regulatory compliance
requirements. 5. Proven success in coaching and motivating a team. 6.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI. 7.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, problem solving skills,
organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work
independently. 8. Ability to use independent judgment and discretion in
various situations while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
9. Must develop a thorough understanding of company policies and
procedures as they relate to this position. PRINCIPAL
ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Provides leadership, coaching and training of newly
established Quality Control team. 2. Leads the quality assessments for
applications, manual and automated credit decisions, stipulations
utilized and waived, clear to close decisions, vendor work, loan
disclosures and documents, post-closing activities, and regulatory
requirements such as, fair lending, and HMDA data. 3. Influences the
