Join our Finance team as a Specialist in Grants Development!
This position works to provide internal support to the Grant Department to maximize
our company's opportunities to compete for and win Federal, state and local discretionary and
private grant funds. The Specialist, Grants Development facilitates and administers
development of external funding strategies, grant activities and/or strategic
partnerships externally.
They work to identify and summarize grant opportunities that are a best fit for our
capital and operating needs. The Specialist, Grants Development understands and
communicates our priorities and coordinates development of grant eligible projects
or project elements with internal and external partners. They assist in preparing grant
proposals, track deadlines and tasks in the review process and outcomes of each
application as well as the criteria/justification of successful applicants.
This position assists the Grants Department with various post-award processes, such as
entering grant awards into federal systems, overseeing and administering grants through
the federal close-out process, assisting with drafting information for Metropolitan and
Statewide Transportation Plans, following up with program managers to ensure timely
grant reporting, and other grant support tasks.
This position requires a minimum of three (3) days per week in-person.

Serve as a good steward by regularly utilizing our transit system to maintain a
strong and current understanding of customers' experiences and of our product and
