Description
The Ballot Security Judge is responsible for daily collection of ballots from
24-hour ballot drop-off locations and Voter Service and Polling Centers
(VSPCs). They are responsible for completing chain of custody
documentation and delivering supplies to VSPCs, and collecting mail from the
General Mail Facility (GMF). They may also be responsible for delivering
and collecting ballots and ballot boxes from Healthcare Facilities (HCFs)
and the Arapahoe County Jail.
Applicants for this position must be willing to travel in the same vehicle
with another election worker.
Note: This is a seasonal position with variable working hours based on
business needs.
Duties
The following duty statements are illustrative of the essentialfunctions of
the job and do not include other non-essential or marginal duties that may be
required. The County reserves the right to modify or change the duties or
essential functions of the job at any time.
Deliver ballot boxes to Voter Service and Polling Centers (VSPCs).
Collect ballots at 24-hour drive up ballot box locations and VSPC locations.
Ensure that daily pick up of ballot boxes are completed and returned to the
elections warehouse for processing.
Accurately complete chain of custody documentation.
Deliver supplies to VSPCs, as requested, in a timely manner.
