Apple display engineering organization is looking for a senior display module integration engineer to work on the next generation display module and enabling technologies as well as their integration with each other. In this role you will be out-of-box problem solver and will define the next generation display module architecture and integrate key building blocks. Strong collaboration and interaction with multi-functional teams offer an incredible opportunity to extend technical depth and breadth as well as learning from world-class authorities in multiple fields spanning from III-V to silicon, process and device integration, wafer fabrication, EE, ME and optics, etc. Your work will have high visibility across the company and strong influence on product definition.
Description
- Be energetic, creative and hard-working engineer with very strong analytical skills and a real passion for crafting and innovation. Explore new display technologies from module architecture, process & device integration and manufacturing feasibility standpoints. Promote innovation and new technology to improve Apple's display performance and user experience
- Define architecture for new display technologies with understanding of system requirement, component and wafer behavior. Perform detailed technical analysis and work with interdisciplinary teams to bridge technology gap between theory and implementable hardware
- Establish process module level performance metrics and requirements through careful use of theory, models and experiments across devices, circuits, and modules
- Analyze trade-offs between performance, manufacturability and cost
Minimum Qualifications
- BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
- Experience in semiconductor process and device physics (transistor or diode) fundamentals
- Experience in HVM semiconductor wafer fab process/device integration role

Preferred Qualifications
- Open minded and enthusiastic about new technologies and prior experience in delivering product from prototyping (POC) to HVM
- Strong statistic analysis and analytical skills; experience in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA)
- Experience in working and managing with HVM semiconductor wafer process fab (FAB) or packaging suppliers (OSAT)
- Prior knowledge/experience in displays, sensor, or camera systems
- Knowledge in Optics and/or color science is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to project detail and task tracking
