About the position: This position will be assigned to the Eglin Outdoor Recreation Marina.
This is a NAF (Non-Appropriated Fund) position assigned to the 96th Force Support Squadron at Eglin AFB Florida.
Position is Regular Part-time (RPT) guaranteed 20-34 hours per week and schedule tour of duty may include nights, weekends and holidays.

Diagnoses malfunctions of outboard motors to determine the source of trouble and to determine the extent of repairs required, including electrical systems, geared units, and components. Using specialized testing equipment, tears down, adjusts, repairs, reassembles, and runs operational checks on engines to determine necessary repairs.
Determines supplies and parts needed for repair of motors. May maintain maintenance records on all equipment repaired, annotating manhours, materials, and date of repair. Based on these records, determines bench stock required and maintenance schedules. Instructs patrons in all phases of safety regulations concerning use of boats and motors. May collect fees for rental of equipment and prepare daily cash reports and deposit funds.
