**This position requires up to 50% travel (domestic and international) **
The Opportunity
A MassMutual Security Foreman supervises, coordinates, and participates in supporting and protecting employees, contractors, and guests. This position performs a wide variety of security duties at both domestic and international locations by implementing and ensuring compliance with company security operating procedures, policies, and duty of care guidelines. Responsibilities include responding to emergency situations and serving as a resource to associates, contractors, guests, and executive leadership when problems arise. This position also conducts, analyzes, and provides feedback on routine security risk assessments on rapidly changing threat environments at global locations while strictly adhering to corporate confidentiality requirements for both medical, security and other company confidential information.

The Impact
- Routinely performs global security risk/site threat assessments, analyze data, and provide feedback to ensure the safety and security of associates and executive leadership.
- Coordinate/supervises secure transportation, parking and assist in escorting guests, associates and executive leadership as required and where needed.
- Communicates effectively and professionally when interacting with associates, contractors, guests, and executive leadership
- Participates in and ensures the successful execution of the following supervisory functions on the team:
- Training security officers (SO) and contractors for on-site and off-site duties including in foreign environments
- Maintain SO and contractor operational proficiency including Duty-of-Care in domestic and foreign environments.
- Embody and drive expectations of professional behavior consistent with MassMutual core values
- Motivate and coach the security officer(s) and contractors to respond to and manage incidents and accidents efficiently as well as effectively
- Ability to supervise site security and medical resources, often consulting with local security/protective teams, law enforcement and medical responders globally
- Manage confidential/classified material, and discussions with the upmost discretion at all times
- Conduct security investigations and prepare written reports for submission to the Director of Global Security and Head of Security
- Establish and manage site/event access controls at all venues globally and address violations as quickly and professionally as possible
- Immediately investigate suspicious activity that could potentially place associates, contractors, guests, and executive leadership at risk
- Perform other duties as assigned or directed
The Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma/equivalent with 5 plus years of corporate experience or a bachelor’s degree in a related field with 1 plus year(s) of corporate or global security experience
- Experience with global security risk/site threat assessments
- Valid driver's license
- Valid US Passport or ability to obtain one
- AED, CPR and First Responder certification
- Available and willing to work evenings and weekends
- Available to travel both domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time
The Ideal Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Excel, Power Point, Word etc.)
- Knowledge of event/conference security
