Job Description:
HealthPartners is currently hiring for a Senior Full Stack Web Developer for our Care Digital Team. This position is responsible for creating web solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining applications and their dependent services. The developer will join a team focused on our patient portal supporting online appointment scheduling functionalities. Our team culture focuses on effective communication, tight feedback loops, and continuous improvement among our agile teams. A productive relationship between business, product, and development teams helps us deliver great software.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
5+ years of hands-on development in progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in object-oriented development using Java and adhering to modern web architecture through continuous integration and delivery.
Experience with full life cycle application development within an agile framework, including requirements gathering, technical design, manual and automated unit through acceptance testing, implementation, documentation, and on-going support.
Experience implementing RESTful web services or microservice APIs JSON payloads that can be used across multiple device types.
Experience with relational database development including design integration and modeling for current or prospective applications. Experience in backend platforms (.Net, Java or Node)
Experience developing web sites with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Working knowledge of Less or SaSS. Experience with continuous integration tools such as Tekton and Jenkins.
Experience in a frontend component framework (stencil, Vue or React)
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to analyze business and technical requirements.
Good understanding of system and application infrastructure and database architecture
Experience with Microsoft Office and general desktop tools
Experience writing technical documentation and business documentation.
Understanding of core operating systems and platforms
Experience with Docker/Virtualization
Healthcare market knowledge and experience in the healthcare industry
Available for on-call 24/7 support rotation on a periodic basis
Experience with Epic Interconnect is a plus.
Hours/Location:
M-F; Days
Position is primarily remote but may need to come onsite for occasional events and team meetings.
Position will participate in an on-call 24/7 support rotation on a periodic basis.

Provide strong technical direction that includes establishing a technical vision, resolving technical disagreements, and managing the technical quality of team deliverables.

Ability to design and write clean, maintainable code, using some (or all) of the languages and frameworks we love: Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot, Node, Nuxt, Vue, React, Stencil
Develops user interfaces based on designs, wire frames, or images supplied by a UX designer. Creates new page components.
Designs and conducts application tests.
Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting.
Troubleshoots development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
