Job Description

 
Medical (Ophthalmic) Technicians Main Duties: Interview Patient, perform initial workup on patients as well as diagnostic tests under the direction of the physician. Act as a scribe while physician examines patient entering data into electronic medical records, oversees patient flow. Assisting physicians with in-office procedures ensuring proper informed consent is obtained, sets up and cleans up from procedures. Assists with patient education. Complies with all practice procedures and protocols. Complies with State and Federal regulations. Maintains positive attitude consisting of cooperation, self-motivation, courtesy, and professionalism. Qualifications: High School Diploma/ GED required. Certification through JCAHPO Helpful Advanced Computer Skills Medical Terminology Knowledge Preferred Benefits: Health and Dental PTO Enhanced short term and long term disability.
