Compliance Manager specializes in advising and guiding the organization
on union labor compliance and inter-union reciprocity, ensuring that
payroll practices align with union agreements and labor regulations
across different states. This role supports internal stakeholders by
interpreting and implementing union-related payroll guidelines and
ensuring compliance with relevant laws. Key Responsibilities: Union
Labor Guidance: Serve as the primary advisor on all union-related
payroll matters, providing expert advice to payroll, HR, and other
internal stakeholders. Interpret union agreements and labor laws to
develop payroll guidelines that accommodate the specific needs and
requirements of different unions. Inter-Union Reciprocity: Manage the
assessment and integration of reciprocity agreements between different
unions, ensuring seamless payroll transitions and compliance. Facilitate
communication and coordination among unions to harmonize payroll
practices across states and regions. Stakeholder Support and Training:
Conduct training sessions for payroll and HR teams on union agreements,
labor laws, and their implications for payroll processes. Prepare
detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership to support
decision-making processes related to union negotiations and compliance.
