Requirements:
o This person should like interacting with people.
o Prior customer service experience or exposure to the construction industry desired.

o Ability to work with Microsoft products, and learn other software as needed.

Job Description:
The Service Department Assistant is responsible for collaborating with customers/employees to take orders for roofing services, bill and collect for them. This person will interact with customers to assist with leaks and rooftop retrofits, schedule inspections, answer questions, and generally provide positive customer service. This person provides administrative support to the service manager and manages the customer database.

Responsibilities:
o Frequent customer contact, both verbal and written daily.
o Create service tickets for customer requests and work with Service Manager for scheduling.
o Add customers and jobsites to company software/database.
o Work with Service Manager to build, maintain, & maximize accurate use of customer database.
o Create and maintain reports for the service department as required.
o Assist with departmental needs relating to service operations, customer service, sales, or general administration.
o Perform service department billings and collections.
o Coordinate and track orders for work.
o Assist with scheduling roofing inspections.
o Basic accounting and payroll duties.
o Be able to become familiar with customer portals for work requests, invoicing, and updates.
o Assist with general administrative duties as available.

BL Dalsin offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement package, paid time off, paid holidays. The pay ranges $60,000 to $75,000 based on qualifications and experience.
