GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Participates in facilitating and overseeing childrens student safety, behavior, play, and recycling in indoor and outdoor settings throughout the school year and support functions to students at an assigned school; does related work as required. Job description attached. According to the CSEA contract; Salary Range: $15.36/hr. 20.50/hr. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND ATTRIBUTES: Skill in implementing school lunch and recess routines, practices and procedures; skill in monitoring and facilitating students including Special Education Students and coordinating student activities; ability to work effectively with students, families, school administrators, teachers and staff; ability to understand and follow school policies, practices and procedures efficiently and effectively; ability to independently handle assigned tasks; ability to communicate effectively orally; resourcefulness; initiative, sound professional judgement; dependability; tact; ability to perform in a reasonable manner the essential function of the position. MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Possession of a high school or high school equivalency diploma.
