Reporting to the President, the Construction Manager is the leader of their
assigned project(s) and underlying staff. The Construction Manager has the
ultimate responsibility for designing the project, placing the project into
design and engineering, scoping the project tasks, compiling, and
monitoring the project budget, setting and meeting project timelines,
meeting and exceeding customer expectations, managing the project team,
and interfacing with stakeholders, management and customers.
The position requires the Construction Manager to balance activities of the
field work along with office interaction to ensure the completion and
implementation of the disciplines of engineering and construction project
execution, business development, field implementation, inventory
control, change management and project documentation.
What you will be doing:
Review and fully understand the scope, contracts, and requirements of each
project.
Create and execute project work plans, schedules, and control budgets as
well as identifying and acquiring resources needed for prosecution of the
project(s).
Assign and manage individual duties to the project construction team and
staff.
