Job Description

 
JOB REQUIREMENTS: As an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Substitute with
Teachers On Call (TOC) you will be working in licensed ECE centers
across the Milwaukee Metro region. These centers will have infant,
toddler, and preschool classrooms with students ranging in age from
birth to five. Your primary role will be assisting in supervision,
classroom activities, and daily routines. TOC substitutes have the
ability to pick and choose their own substituting assignments online or
by phone. Minimum Requirements: Assistant Teacher: \$14/hour No
experience necessary Completion of non-credit department approved course
in ECE Introduction to the Child Care Profession (EC1) or 2 credits in
ECE or its equivalent Lead Teacher: \$16.00/hour 240 hours of experience
as an Assistant Teacher Must also meet one of the following education
requirements: Completion of both EC1 and EC2 non-credit department
approved course in ECE 4 credits in ECE or its equivalent 48 credits
from an institution of higher education with at least 3 credits in ECE
or its equivalent One-year childcare diploma in childcare or ECE from an
institute of higher education An associate degree in ECE or childcare
from an institute of higher education CDA certificate Teaching license
issued by WI DPI in pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, or early childhood
regular or special education teacher (substitute licenses do not
qualify) \*\*Must also have copy of high school diploma on file in
addition to above\*\* 4K Teacher: \$18.00/hour Meets all training
requirements of Lead Teacher but additionally has DPI teaching license
specific to ECE (preK-3 Bachelor and license) Why Work for Teachers On

working off 80 ECE specific hours (dependent on needed credentials).
