a part-time Rehabilitation Technician in our Onalaska Therapy
Department!This is your opportunity to provide care to patients while
doing the work you love in the . What does a Rehabilitation Technician
do: Supports our Therapists when working with patients This position
will primarily support our Onalaska PT/OT, Onalaska Sports, La Crosse
PT/OT and La Crosse Neuro & Peds PT/OT This position does not require
Wisconsin CNA certification! What will this position look like: 8 hour
day shifts Monday - Friday No weekends or holidays What will you get:

School Diploma or equivalency 1 year experience in general service
requiring basic occupational knowledge and skills. Current Infant-Adult
Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning)

Job Description:
TheRehabilitationTechnicianperformsdelegatedworkunderthedirectsupervisionofanOccupational
Therapist(OT),PhysicalTherapist(PT),CertifiedOccupationalTherapistAssistant(COTA)orPhysical
Therapy Assistant (PTA). Greets patients, assists with smooth flow of
department operations, monitors therapists Epic schedules, responsible
for safe and clean patient care space, assists with safe patient
movement, may assist as patient chaperone and maintains a clean work
environment. Major Responsibilities: 1. Rehabilitation Technician
supports patient care by: Effective customer service skills to
facilitate prompt, appropriate delivery of service. Assisting with
patient care, mobility and safety. Some examples are as follows: Blood
Flow Restriction set up, Modality set up (Ultrasound, Electrical
stimulation, Game Ready, Ice Pack, Hot pack,) Assisting patients safely
onto equipment (bike, nu step, treadmill, Upper Body Ergometer), Assists
with safety as stand by assist with gait, treatment and transfers.
Assists with wrapping post operative extremities and adjusting braces
and boots for safe and comfortable fit Responsible for set up and clean
up of patient care treatment area, equipment and supplies. Completes
