Job Description:
Machine Set-Up Operator- SMT

Location- Anoka MN

Wage $20.00

1st shift-Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm

NO DT or BGC Required

Job Description:

This position will set-up and operate the Screen Printer, SMT placement equipment, Reflow Ovens and any other production equipment as required. Will maintain an atmosphere of teamwork throughout Company. Quality and workmanship standards performed must meet or exceed Company and customer expectation.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the quality and productivity of the assigned machine (s).

• Support the team concept in the PCB Assembly area.

• Complete the daily work schedule for the assigned machine (s).

• Maintain the daily/monthly preventative maintenance for the assigned machine (s).

• Maintain the statistical process control chart for the assigned machine.

• Ensure accurate counting of W.I.P. and bulk material for the assigned machine (s). (Inventory control of solder and flux)

• Determine when to request technical assistance as a result of questionable machine operation or suspected quality issues.

• Support and enforce the Quality Assurance Policies, ESD and safety policies.

• Assist in other areas as required to achieve Company goals.

• Support the engineering department in developing new processes when called upon.

• Assist in training new personnel.



Education: Two (2) year experience with placement and soldering equipment and high school diploma or equivalent with exceptional mechanical skills will be considered.

Experience: Experience with component identification, both Thru-hole and SMT, interpret assembly drawings, BOM system, and ECO’s. Ability to learn PC computer skills required. Developed interpersonal skills required to be effective in a team environment.
