Customized Solutions Team Member



Description
Summary:
The Customized Solutions Team Member plays a crucial role in supporting our purpose of creating lasting value for those we serve by performing part modifications by assembling and building kits using products from the distribution center to respond to customer orders efficiently and accurately. This role works independently and in a team environment to ensure the modification requests are assembled, quality checked, packaged and shipped. This role works in conjunction with the distribution team members and team leads to process all products in an efficient manner while maintaining high levels of accuracy and safety. This individual promotes our culture, our 5 P's and our purpose to create lasting value for those we serve.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
Responsible for workflow through the modification center
This person will work closely with leadership to create processes, document and build work instructions, and help collect data on key metrics
Maintain a schedule for work orders that are in progress
Responsible for creating, editing, and processing work orders through the modification center
Ability to work with internal and external customers
Adhere to all company safety policies and initiatives
Assist in maintaining distribution center cleanliness and order
Cross-train in other departments as needed
Support team members by participating in team lifts
Participate in process improvements
Provide coverage in areas of the distribution center in which staffing is low and work level is high

Job Requirements/Specifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Previous distribution center experience preferred
Ability to lift 50 lbs on a consistent basis
Ability to operate lift truck equipment
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
An ability to use machines and power tools effectively and safely
Work order processing and work order entry knowledge is a plus
Previous CAD experience preferred
Previous experience creating work instructions
Ability to work an extended shift to complete work tasks as needed
Demonstrated computer skills
Knowledge of Eclipse preferred
Knowledge of handheld RF scanner is a plus
