Position Summary
The Antarctic Terminal Operations (ATO) Shift Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in overseeing cargo operations, airfield activities, and load planning, directly managing 32 staff, including Cargo Personnel, Airfield Shift Supervisors, and Load Planners. This role also provides ancillary oversight to Passenger Services, Cargo Coordinator, and Shuttle Operations staff, ensuring the seamless coordination of personnel and resources.
The position requires a high level of multitasking ability, as the supervisor must manage simultaneous operations while navigating constant distractions and adapting to dynamic flight schedule changes. The ATO Shift Supervisor must pivot operations quickly and efficiently to align with evolving priorities and circumstances. Additionally, this role serves as the primary point of contact (POC) for all tasking assistance requests from other departments, ensuring timely and effective support for cross-functional needs.
