The Role
This position will support IT Division Project Managers and assist in the management of IT projects and programs utilizing the PACCAR project management methodology. This person will also work with the Director of the Project Management Office (PMO) in support of managing the portfolio of active projects across IT Division.
About the Team
As a Project Manager, you will work with the Project Management Office Team and the Solution Review Board members in overseeing a portfolio of high-impact and high-visibility projects that focuses on solving PACCAR's most important challenges, as well as the development of products and services for our internal and external customers.

Job Responsibilities
The position will participate in supporting PMO activities, including:
Support project managers and learn PMO processes by participating on active projects and completing tasks as assigned by the project managers
Learn and put in practice the Agile development process with the support of active project teams and project managers
Learn and participate in project risk definition and mitigation practices at the direction of project managers
Learn and participate in PMO process improvements with support of PMO staff
Learn and participate in portfolio management activities at the direction of the PMO Director
Clearly defining scope, resources, risk schedule and budget and reassess on a periodic basis
Develop executive presence and presentation skills through PMO meetings
Required Experience & Skills
Solid communication and teamwork skills
Mental agility and curiosity, particularly about IT program and project management
Experience in working on complex efforts a plus
Academic understanding of project management, Scrum and Agile
Comfortable working with ambiguity
Self-motivated and able to work effectively with little or no supervision
Education
Pursuing or recently attained Bachelor's Degree in Business or other related field
Physical Demands
Sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time
Lifting to 55 pounds
Team lifting large objects such as servers using lifting equipment
