Job Description:
Need 20 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operators to work in Stearns, Swift, Kandiyohi, and Nobles Counties in Minnesota.
From: 04/14/2024 to 12/15/2024
Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon. - Sat. 8 hrs./day, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
All work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of time and a half.
Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here at his sole discretion.

JOB DUTIES: Perform duties on a farm for a farm like: Drive and operate harvesting machines or custom cutting machinery to harvest a variety of grain and oil-seed crops from clients’ farms. Adjust
speeds of cutters, blowers and conveyors, and weight of cutting head, using hand tools.
Change cutting head as appropriate for crop. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farmworkers. Service machinery and make incidental in-field repairs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. Minimum of (3) months experience. Must have or be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. No minimum education required. Employer requires drug screen post-hire at employers' expense due to the liability of driving heavy equipment and driving trucks on public roads. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm and expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment.

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
