Overview:
Performs various planning functions associated with the creation and scheduling of the inventory to production to fulfill module construction requirements. Utilizing the ERP system to ensure data is accurate and up-to-date, and resolve any related issues as required to meet targeted objectives.

Responsibilities:


Review and monitor the bill of materials based on supporting documentation provided by Engineering.
Maintain documentation files of customer drawings, work instructions, etc., on active assemblies for ease of use by others within the organization.
Utilize ERP system to review, release and print manufacturing work-in-process orders to production.
Transacts completed assemblies to inventory.
Monitoring and control of stock inventory needed for module production.
Coordinate between warehouse, assembly department, and purchasing on material shortages.
Maintains the Manufacturing Schedule to promote optimum flow of modules through the facility.
Notify Sales of any schedule impacts to customers.
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Coordinate and manage high visibility and important customer BOM changes.
Act as interface between project manager, engineering, purchasing and inventory controls (logistics).
Create spreadsheets that track jobs and all materials received.
Generate daily/weekly/monthly schedule for in house assembly operations.


Requirements


Education: Associates / bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent combination of background and experience.
Prior use of computer ERP or MRP systems and software applications.
3-5 years production planning and quality control experience in a related industry
Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify obstacles and recommend solutions.
Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to be productive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to effectively interface and communicate orally and in written communications with peers, customers, and senior management.
Exceptional computer skills; well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite
