What You Will Be Doing:

As the Transportation Coordinator for Austell, you will coordinate all CRS transportation, deliveries and pickups with internal and external resources. 

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently schedule daily deliveries and pickups.
  • Work with rental coordinator's to prioritize upcoming loads on a daily basis.
  • Coordinate with AOR to make sure machines are ready to ship.
  • Pre-plan with yard coordinators throughout AOR to stage next day deliveries for efficiency.
  • Oversee yard coordinators that they are safely loading and assisting AOR with store efficiencies.
  • Contract outside hauling as cost effectively as possible.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
  • Additional duties as assigned by manager.

Who We Are Looking For:

To be successful in this position you should have a understanding of the transportation business. You should have basic computer skills, highly organized and  have a safety conscious mindset. The ability to multitask, problem solve and provide superior customer service are essential to this position as well.

Education/Experience:
  • High school Diploma or related equivalent required.
  •  Bachelor's Degree from a four year college or university or relate equivalent experience preferred.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
  • Excellent organization and communication skills. 
  • Strong accountability and initiative.
  • Previous experience and demonstrated success in team leadership and leader development.
  • Advanced problem solving capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of the Transportation business.
  • Detailed understanding of financial and operational metrics, and the ability to impact them.
  • Minimum 3 years in providing management oversight for overall scheduling, logistics and driver training of a transportation department.
  • Experience successfully managing analytically rigorous corporate initiatives. 
  • Ability to keep current on all state and federal DOT regulation requirements.
  • PC proficiency.
