Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a top Healthcare organization in the Ames, IA area. This person will need to encompass critical thinking skills and a problem-solving mentality. This person will be in interacting with the entire organization on a day to day. This engineer will be working on multiple different projects and platforms to help the organization move initiatives and determine best practices. The team lead will help guide the team's work and troubleshooting efforts. The team is responsible for storage, virtualization (server, desktop, and application), servers, backups, and cloud technologies.

5+ Years of infrastructure engineering experience

Planning and design experience with any virtualization tool. For example: VMware, Vsphere, Microsoft HyperV, etc.

Strong experience with Storage: SAN (Fiber Channels Switching)

General Data Center Experience specifically Cisco networking

Exposure to O365 experience: need to be able to collaborate with the team on architecture and change.

Has worked in the healthcare industry.
