Required Skills:
• Ability to write legibly.
• Good working knowledge of common tools and their use.
• Display pleasant attitude towards customers and co-workers.
• Ability to be on job 40 and up to 50 hours per week. Monday to Friday
• Ability to perform emergency repairs after hours and weekends.
• Ability to safely work at heights installing and maintaining grain.
• Must not have allergies to grain dust and related products that can’t be managed.
• Must have flexibility to work on remote projects over night.
• CDL Driers License
Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of basic electrical control systems and functions.
• Possess welding skills to work on the job sites and in shop.
• General carpentry skills.
• Mechanical/millwright skills desired
• Ability to operate fork trucks and similar equipment such as manlifts.
• Sales Experience selling products and services.
• Crane certification
• CDL drivers license with various endorsements

Job Description:
The K&S Millwrights Dryer Technician/Millwrights Specialist is expected to meet the qualifications as outlined below. This position is a vital part to the overall success of our organization. This role is seasonal and as such is expected to support the company.

Reporting:
This position reports to the K&S General Manager and the Dryer Service Manager

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
• Work safely and safely operate equipment at work sites and in shop.
• Working with the dryer team perform preseason maintenance seasonally.
• Perform general repairs to grain dryers, grain handling systems, feed mills, grain storage facilities, as service calls are received.
• Assist in the installation of a wide range of equipment in feed mills and grain handling systems.
• Perform general labor duties including construction sites and in the shop.
• Ability to work in team centered environment.
• Perform weekend and/or after-hours emergency repairs when needed.
• Safely operate equipment at work sites and in the shop.
• Additional projects and duties required or directed by the K&S General Manager.
