Job Description: |
Tri-State Bobcat is a premier leader in compact equipment, celebrating 40 years in business has an opening for an inside/field sales representative to grow existing and prospective customer accounts, while developing long-term partnerships with our customers. We are looking for a self-starter to help promote, build and sell Tri State Bobcat's bundle of compact and outdoor power equipment through directly selling to end customers. The sales representative is responsible for providing sales support to Tri State Bobcats retail customers using company provided systems and tools. This role will partner with the sales team to grow existing, prospective customer accounts, facilitate lead generation, follow up on vendor and company generated internet leads. Typical hours are M-F 7:30 - 5:00, up to $75K plus commission.
Sales Representative Responsibilities:
Contact prospective customers to determine customer needs, present product information, and explain available services. Meet with customers at store locations to conduct machine presentations and demonstrations. Present equipment, finance options, Complete all required sales documentation, sales proposals, including Purchase Agreements, Customer Sales Agreements and finance contracts. Use company provided systems/tools to fully document, track, record, follow-up and capture all related sales activity in a timely and accurate manner. Effectively understand manufacturers' programs and resources Respond to needs of walk-in customers. Collaborate with sales manager, Marketing, to identify interested and qualified customers. Acquire knowledge of Tri State Bobcat equipment offering and competitive products in order to offer the best solutions based on customer needs, interests and concerns. Follow up on each sale to ensure customer satisfaction. Builds and maintains active prospect list Coordinate with customers and applicable departments ensuring timely delivery of product. Coordinate pickup and delivery of equipment as needed. Coordinate and/or conduct field demonstrations as well as operate machinery at customer location. Sales Representative Qualifications:
2 years inside sales or other sales experience preferred Clean driving record and valid driver's license required Personal characteristics: Strong customer service and communication skills, achievement oriented, planning / organization skills, problem solving, team player Demonstrates strong work ethic and acts with a sense of urgency Strong computer knowledge and ability to learn new systems quickly Tri-State Bobcat is an EEO employer.
