JOB SPECIFICATIONS

· Must be 18 years of age or older

· Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident

· Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or related work experience

· Experience: basic mathematics required. Basic knowledge of electronic assembly and rework helpful. Basic data entry skills required.

· Mental Demands: reading technical documents such as blueprints, bill of materials, workmanship standards, and procedures. Problem solving, confidentiality, basic math skills, verbal and written communication and good attention to detail.

· Physical Demands: ability to perform high manual dexterity and repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for up to 8 to 10 hours a day. Ability to lift, push and pull 10 to 25 pounds. Must have good eyesight, as well as the ability to adjust focus and differentiate between colors.

· Equipment Used: hand tools, solder iron and rework equipment, microscope, ring light, caliper, copier and computer.

Job Description:
Wage: -$20 DOE

Shift: 1st shift- M-F 7am-3:30pm

MUST BE A US CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENT

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION- To identify and rework solder defects and add components not added in assembly. Do wire adds and modifications as necessary. Assemble printed circuit boards into a final assembly as required by the purchase order.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Must accurately read and comprehend all technical paperwork pertaining to the job, such as blueprints, bills of material, inspection data, rework instructions, and quality standards

· Rework all components / solder joints using a soldering iron or rework equipment so the finished product complies with quality standards

· Add/remove components using small hand tools such as pliers, tweezers, cutters and soldering equipment. Hand wash areas of the board where sensitive components have been hand soldered.

· Complete inspection records, keeping accurate and detailed records

· Verify rework is acceptable before release to next operation or shipping

· Contribute to maintaining a safe work environment by following safety policies and procedures, reporting any safety concerns, and participating in any scheduled stretch breaks

· Responsible for compliance to the Quality Management System and other regulatory and statutory requirements as required by the customer.

· Act as an authorized agent to stop production when nonconformances are noted

· Accountable for accepting responsibility for continuous on the job training by actively participating in training put on by designated employees and/or any outside service.
