Job Summary
The Marketing Communications Manager, Biopharma leads the communication strategy and media planning to drive brand awareness, lead generation and product launches in support of the Biopharma business' growth and revenue objectives. This role works collaboratively with the Marketing department, business unit leaders, and external agencies to develop effective marketing campaigns and content strategies. This role requires expert knowledge and experience in digital and global B2B marketing.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and develop strategic marketing campaigns that effectively promote CPC's Biopharma business through strong brand positioning and key messaging, leveraging CPC's value propositions and competitive advantages.
Develop and maintain robust market research, including personas, target audiences, and competitive analyses.
Apply expertise in current and emerging online and interactive advertising and promotional opportunities to develop effective media plans and marketing mix.
Define and manage marketing strategies, including digital marketing, email campaign management and search engine marketing, public relations, industry-specific trade media and sales literature.
Partner with other departments and external agencies to design and implement website enhancements to improve the customer experience. Collaborate with business unit and sales leaders to refine strategies.
Define appropriate marketing metrics to measure, analyze and identify opportunities for optimizing marketing results, including website traffic, Google campaigns, lead generation, UI analysis, and brand awareness.
Manage corporate public relations program and work with Business Units to develop strategic PR materials to increase brand awareness and maintain position of expertise within targeted industries. This may include writing, interviewing and editing.
Drive the creation of web, print, email, newsletter and sales tool content within business units.
Leverage resources, coordinate translation, and develop regional and market specific strategies.
Manage corporate brand including trademark and copyright protection.
Manage outside support agencies and contractors as needed to support business goals.
Adhere to all safety regulations.
Demonstrate support of core values.
Perform other job duties as assigned to meet business needs.
REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Expert in B2B sales processes and interactive marketing, including search engine marketing, online media, social media and e-mail marketing.
Experience in developing global marketing strategies.
Product Marketing experience with multiple product lines.
Expert in developing PR to support corporate brand management via awareness building.
Strong cross-functional team skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into information for business decisions.
Excellent organizational skills and strict attention to detail.
Strong project management skills and ability to deliver quality work within tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently on projects as well as part of a larger team.
Ability to multi-task several simultaneous projects of varying types.
Innovative thinker who can evolve processes over time.
Professional written and verbal skills.
Ability to partner effectively with internal departments and external vendors.
Required Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business or commensurate experience
10+ years of business-to-business manufacturing experience with multiple sales channels
Preferred Job Qualifications:
Master's degree
Experience with language translation
Leading video production projects (promotional and instructional) for web use
5+ years of team coordination experience
Travel Requirements:
Less than 10%
