Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Bartender/Server to take and deliver food and beverage orders in our restaurant, The Cottage. You will be responsible for providing patrons with an exceptional customer service experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ensuring the bar and dining areas are clean and tidy when customers arrive, serving food and beverages, knowing both food and drink menus so that you can answer customer questions, making drinks for servers to deliver to customers, and anticipating the customer's needs. You need to be efficient and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a high-volume restaurant, we'd like to meet you. Your ultimate goal will be to provide the highest quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers. Starting Rate is $15.00 per hour PLUS tips - an average of $25-$40.
Responsibilities
Prepare restaurant bar with special attention to sanitation and order
Attend to customers upon being seated and server orders
Help customers select food/beverages
Take and serve orders
Answer questions or make recommendations
Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
Deal with any complaints with a positive attitude
Issue bills and accept payment
Requirements
Proven restaurant serving or bartending experience
Hands-on experience in cashier duties
Attention to cleanliness and safety
Patience and customer-oriented approach
Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
