Job Description

 
4 Fulltime H-2A Seasonal Jobs available 3/7/2024 -11/1/2024. Vegetable crops: tomatoes, peppers, squash, corn, melons and small quantities of other specialty vegetables. Greenhouse: vegetable and flower transplants, flower pots and hanging baskets. Use manual and powered equipment to plant, transplant, maintain (clean and cultivate , harvest , and pack) vegetable and greenhouse crops. Maintain fences, equipment, and irrigation. Clean up. Equipment operated: Farm tractor, rototiller, mower, trucks, forklift, skid steer, soil blender and sterilizer. Workers will comply with procedures for power equipment safety as instructed and follow other instructions of supervisor. Workers will follow rules that assure site safety as instructed. Tools paid for by employer. Requirements: * 3 months experience required. * Extensive walking/sitting, frequent stooping/bending, repetitive movements, exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing/pulling. * Lifting requirement of 60 lbs. * Drug testing at expense of employer after hire in case of accident or unsafe behavior. * Driver requirements.
