Job Summary
The Powersports Technician is responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and scheduled maintenance of a variety of types of Powersports  brands. Additional job responsibilities are outlined below.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Ability to diagnose equipment utilizing diagnostic software and/or online technical manuals
-Perform component removal, disassembly, and reconditioning as part of the repair process
-Safely operate all equipment the dealership sells and services (ATVs, Motorcycles, Side x sides, etc.)
-Resolve electrical and mechanical issues
-Help the dealership by participating in special programs, such as sales of service packages.
-Communicate repairs with customers so they have an understanding of the work being done

Position Qualifications
-2+ years of experience with Small Engine Mechanics (Powersports experience strongly preferred)
-High School Degree required
-2-year technical degree within mechanics field preferred
-Must currently have or be willing to obtain a valid motorcycle license
-Candidate must have or be willing to obtain OEM certifications
-Ownership of necessary tools
-Electronic diagnostic ability
-Ability to perform all tasks without supervision
-Ability to lift at least 75 lbs repeatedly
-Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
-Ability to use a computer and various types of diagnostic equipment
