Insight Global is seeking a Business/Data Analyst to join the team with one of our financial/asset management clients located in New York City. This will be a hybrid role expected to go onsite two times per week (Mondays and Wednesdays). The firm is working on rolling out a new data governance/catalog vendor product that they are hosting internally. This person will be responsible for working with infrastructure and the business to get this product set up and make sure it is working properly. This person must have financial industry experience, and ideally have experience working within asset management, as you will be communicating with the business. You should have a technical background, understanding how to use Python and SQL for data analysis in order to capture where the data is and be able to explain it to the business. This role will have aspects of business analysis, data analysis and project management. This is a brand-new project, so it is a very exciting time to join this team!
