Job Details
Dignity Health’s Pacific Central Coast Health Centers (PHC) is a non-profit Community clinic organization comprised of more than 40 health centers located primarily from Ventura to Templeton spanning the coast. Our experienced physicians and advanced practice providers offer a wide range of primary and specialty care services. PHC is a part of Dignity Health Central Coast’s award-winning network of outstanding hospitals imaging centers laboratories and post-acute services.
Responsibilities
The Contact Center Triage RN is responsible for knowing his/her professional scope of practice as defined by the California Business and Professional Code and for satisfactorily completing the Dignity Health Medical Foundation orientation period that includes demonstrating skills and behaviors that meet a fully competent level of performance. The Contact Center Triage RN is responsible for providing telephonic clinical assessment health education and utilization management services to a variety of patients.
Qualifications
Minimum High School diploma or equivalent Satisfactory completion of a formal Registered Nurse program pursuant to the Division of Allied Health Professions or military training that is equivalent to an accredited Registered Nurse program (determination by Dignit Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in acute care or ambulatory care medical clinic required BLS ;REGISTERED NURSE (RN) Excellent interpersonal organizational and customer service skills are essential Medical terminology familiarity with CPT and ICD coding procedures and reference tools and pharmacology appropriate to the Registered Nurse scope of practice is essentia Preferred BSN preferred One or more years of telephone/ call center triage nurse experience preferred Registered Nursing / BSN Familiarity with an electronic practice management system is preferred
