Order#: NY1495718 Manufacturing Engineer This is a highly visible role with significant opportunity for growth. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Support the day-to-day manufacturing operations Develop and maintain manufacturing processes, document process changes, drive process improvements Drive new product roll-out process as liaison between design engineering to manufacturing Capital equipment acquisition: spec, analysis, purchase, lay out and implement Plant floor layout for manufacturing changes Troubleshoot problems on the shop floor and develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs Provide technical support and effectively interact with customers and other departments Ensure that all manufacturing design, processes and technical data are complete and accurately documented to provide an accurate technical and historical base for future reference Qualifications/Experience: 3 years manufacturing/process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment; consumer product preferred Programming ABB Robotics experience BS/MS Mechanical, Manufacturing/Industrial/Quality Engineering Ability to accurately cost manufacturing processes a must Experience with plastics (blow molding experience is a plus) Experience with metal fabrication, resistance welding and powder coating a plus Proficiency with Microsoft Suite Ability to manage multiple projects plan, organize and prioritize Management/leadership experience Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with others at all levels within the organization
