Overview: The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation is seeking a Parks and Recreation Aide 5 at Kenneth L Wilson Campground in Mt Tremper, NY. Typical duties: Stay overnight on site 2 days per week (Wednesday and Thursday), supervise staff, prepare financial facility paperwork, provide good customer service, check campers in at booth, clean bathrooms, clean campsites, grounds maintenance, boat rentals, etc. Requirements: Must have valid drivers license Criminal justice/law enforcement experience or one year in a recreational facility preferred Reliability Strong Customer Service skills Ability to take direction from a supervisor Communication skills Shift and salary: This is a full time, temporary position working Wednesday through Sunday with overnights required.
