We are seeking a talented Water & Wastewater Staff Engineer II to join our team in either our Dublin, OH or Newark, OH office.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Managers with engineering design for water and wastewater facilities requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks
  • Perform technical engineering work associated with water and wastewater engineering including:
    • Prepare engineering reports and feasibility studies
    • Prepare engineering-related calculations and visual aids
    • Develop hydraulic models and perform engineering analysis
    • Participate in field investigations
    • Prepare design drawings, plans, sections, details, and profiles/sections
    • Complete various permitting applications
    • Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, and contractors

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited institution in Civil or Environmental Engineering with an emphasis in water/wastewater or other related field
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in water & wastewater or related civil engineering projects including design, analyses, and studies
  • Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is required
  • Familiarity with computer models for hydraulic system analysis
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
