Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work independently, perform a wide variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly processes involving many steps and high degree of complexity
- Responsible for assembling a complicated product complete from start to finish.
- Responsible for testing product.
- Adjust, fit, or align components to tight tolerances, specifications, and inspection standards.
- Access work orders, prints, specifications, and technical information as required.
- Collaborate with other departments such as engineering, quality control, and production to ensure efficient assembly processes.
- Exercise judgement to meet quality requirements and address challenges.
- Assemble threaded pipes and fittings both manually and using pneumatic tools.
- Receive orders, print labels, request material from stockroom.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must have basic math skills and computer skills
- Good communication skills - English required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Assembly or related field.
- Technical degree or certification in a related field is a plus
- Ability to Lift 35-50 pounds.
- Other physical demands of the job include, but are not limited to, bending, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and walking.
Pay and Benefits:
- Starting salary is $17.50 or more, depending on experience.
- Pay rate can increase by $1.25 per hour for perfect attendance
