What You'll Do:
Serve as an integral member of both the leadership and health services team.
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate services of residents to ensure their needs are met.
Monitor and maintain resident records.
Assure that proper systems, policies, and procedures are followed correctly.
Conduct evaluations of staff performance of delegated nursing services in coordination with the Director of Nursing through appropriate documentation and consistent with policies.
Promote a positive, team approach and a healthy work environment.
Recognize and manage common geriatric syndromes common to aging adults: cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary, neurological, sensory and pain problems.
Communicate any changes in residents' needs or conditions to physicians and other personnel, facilitating the coordination of resident services with other providers.
Supervise medication practices and the use of medical equipment within the facility.
What We're Looking For:
Current MN license as a Registered Nurse.
Minimum of one year experience assisted living, preferred.
Good organizational skills with the ability to self-start and follow through with initiatives with minimal supervision.
Exhibits a caring heart with a passion for caring for the elderly.
Possesses good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Experience using a resident record computerized system.
