JOB REQUIREMENTS: Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Analyst -
Specialist for a contract lasting through December 2026 working remotely
with an insurance company in Milwaukee, WI. We are seeking a Technical
Business Analyst to join our Test Data & Environments team. As a
Business Analyst, you will work on a talented cross-functional team of
engineers, DBAs and subject matter experts in an agile methodology to
advance our servicing capabilities for our clients, field and home
office. You will participate in strategic and transformational efforts
impacting these servicing capabilities to deliver critical business
outcomes. Responsibilities: Partner with peer group, tech partners and
product management to learn business area/domain, while continuing to
learn and grow knowledge across the enterprise Author user stories and
features independently with low to medium complexity while participating
in some task-based work in higher complexity situations Responsible for
fact-based requirement gathering, including all system, technical and
intake requests Responsible for refining teams backlog and prioritizing
work in alignment with the projects deliverables Reviews & edits files
(columns, fields, etc.) for PII data, validating with SMEs Partner
closely to prioritize work for Database Administrators (DBAs)
Troubleshoot software bugs while providing guidance and acceptance
criteria to agile team Collaborates with requesting SMEs for UAT and
sign off Must have: Eperience leading an agile scrum team and executing
agile ceremonies (PI planning, sprint planning, mid-sprint review,
demos, etc) Must be available during core CST business hours Must be
advanced in Jira, Jira Align, and Confluence tools Typically 8+ years of
experience in the role. Needs to have background in Agile practices.
Expectation to run PI planning, prioritize the backlog, they know how to
properly write stores in an agile format. Know how to run spring
planning, spring refinement. Atlassian Suite - Jira & Confluence - very
strong knowledge, experience. Jira especially. BA/Product Owner for min
of 3 years, plus 5+ years of other related technology background. Nice
to have: Understanding different database technologies (Db2, MySQL,
Sybase, Aurora Cloud) Soft skills: self-starter, take initiative,
own/lead the process. Speak up. Need clear communication, on-camera
presence is essential for meetings Great to have background = Anything
they know about data de-identification, masking or remediation. Possibly
Data security background. Personal information in a non-production
environment, understand what fields, columns, fields where that date is
located. Reviewing for accuracy, partnering with engineering team,
coordinate to do user acceptance testing with that team. If you have the
