    We are offering a permanent employment opportunity in the heart of a bustling city in Connecticut. We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be expected to handle a variety of tasks including processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and handling customer inquiries. You'll also be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary.

    Responsibilities:
    • Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner.
    • Maintain and update customer credit records to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
    • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues as they arise.
    • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed.
    • Perform basic accounting tasks using QuickBooks.
    • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable duties.
    • Prepare bank reconciliations and journal entries.
    • Assist with month-end close procedures.
    • Utilize various software tools including NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP.
    • Gain experience in the construction industry.
    • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management
    • Experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations
    • Familiarity with General Ledger maintenance
    • Proficiency in preparing Journal Entries
    • Experience in Month End Close activities
    • Proficiency in using NetSuite for accounting tasks
    • Experience with Oracle-based accounting activities
    • Proficiency in using QuickBooks for various accounting tasks
    • Experience with SAP in the context of accounting
    • Knowledge or experience in the Construction industry is beneficial
