Job Description:
Need 10 full time, temporary, seasonal Maintenance and Repair workers to work in Pipestone, Martin, and Murray Counties in Minnesota.
From: 05/10/2024 - 10/01/2024
Work: 45 hrs./week, Mon.-Fri. 7 hrs./day, Sat.-Sun. 5 hrs./day. 6:00am-4:00pm.
Additional hours of work, i.e., on Sabbath, or holidays may be offered. Merit based bonuses may be given. Higher hourly rate may be given based on experience, tenure, skill, and other non-discriminatory factors.
As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Perform general farm maintenance, including repairing water lines, leaks, cleaning and replacing water filters, and ventilation systems. Repair of sow feeders, tubes and creep paneling in farrowing crates. Unclogging of sewer lines, minor welding tasks and caulking structures. Yard maintenance will also be required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift and carry 75lbs/75yds. Must be able and willing to perform work in extreme temperatures, with extensive pushing, pulling, walking, frequent stooping or bending over, and repetitive movements. One (1) month of relative work experience required. Background check conducted through ADP if worker has a U.S Social Security Number. The employer reserves the right to conduct a background check post-hire at the employer's expense IF the employer deems it necessary. No HS Diploma or GED required.

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
