Full Time position, Day shift, 40 hours per week plus overtime.
POSITION SUMMARY
Assemble pre-cut components into high-end custom Vinyl Window Shutters.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To build louver, panel, and board & batten shutters to the precise specifications.
• Must be able to run pneumatic or electrical tools.
• Know how to use an electric drill.
• May be required to repair wood using Bondo filler.
• To verify orders with paperwork, inspect and sand shutter pieces as needed.
• Carry out all tasks with the highest regard for quality and safety.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers and personnel as well as other employees.
• Previous experience with hand tools, miter and table saw.
• Be able to read a tape measure.
• Must be able to work in airborne sawdust as well as in hot, cold, wet, humid, and loud environments for long periods of time.
• Be able to work on concrete floor (10 hours).
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift to 75 pounds.
• Must have a full range of body movements, turning, twisting, bending arms, legs, wrist, hands, and fingers.
• Must be able to read and understand all safety training.
• Have reliable transportation to work.
Hiring Requirements: Must be 18 years old, and be able to pass a Drug Testing/Screening and E-verify. No experience required.
