What you will be doing
Stores and logs material within a storage facility using a forklift truck, hoist, or other material handling equipment.
Plans and organizes proper storage for release and delivery of materials, parts, components, and tooling to specific departments
Will follow verbal and written instructions
Performs cycle counts and inventory audits
Will enters receipt and issue of parts to jobs.
Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area
Follows all ISO and Safety procedures.
Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
Works under general supervision.
Researches and reconciles inventory discrepancies.
Works with the Quality department to resolve Material Control problems.
What you we need from you
Preferably 3-5 years related experience in a Manufacturing Inventory control environment.
Communicate in English both written and verbally.
Demonstrate accurate basic math skills.
High School Diploma or GED preferred but NOT required.
Ability to demonstrate basic computer skills with the ability to navigate around files.
Preferably have experience with MRP/ERP and Microsoft Office programs.
5 S Knowledge a plus
Able to meet the physical requirements of the position including lifting up to 50 pounds, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
May work extended hours and/or weekends. Ability to work in a non- temperature condition
