Job description:

Support the Software development and testing activities for medical capital equipment development project.

Key responsibilities:

  • Interact with various customers for clarity on requirement, review & interaction with team based on global delivery model.

  • Development of verification platform automation & testing of the systems.

  • Develop application SW in Python/ Linux for feature, GUI & embedded system interface.

Required Skills

  • (5-12) years of understanding and experience in the development & tool development of full life cycle of application software for medical capital equipment development activities.

  • Experience of working in medical devices (e.g. 4 years including one full conceptualization till release cycle of medical software application) is required.

  • Strong expertise in development of applications using Python in Linux and/ or Win OS

  • Working experience in C is highly preferred.

  • Database expertise i.e. proven understanding and experience in writing and driving SQL for application development

  • Expertise in test automation i.e. building frameworks and automating sophisticated workflows using Python is required in this role.

  • Managing the health quality of software release work, project requirements and other quality considerations is a key requirement.

  • Hands on experience in working with embedded device is required.

  • Experience with testing the following types of medical systems:

  • Machine Control completing an embedded computer to control a single use medical device that is mechanically based.

  • Similar to the above that controls a single use device such as an image (camera)

  • Experience crafting test frameworks that automatically power up or cause failures through the control of relays and other switching techniques

  • Experience with batch testing to run automatic test cases in a regression format

  • Strong written and verbal communication, judgment, decision-making, and critical thinking skills

  • Great teammate with ability to work independently or within project teams with general mentorship.

  • Strong analytical skills.
