JOB REQUIREMENTS: Overview Operates diagnostic imaging equipment to
produce contrast enhanced radiographs of heart and cardiovascular system
(angiograms), during cardiac catheterization, to aid Physician in
diagnostic evaluation and treatment by performing the following duties.

Prepares equipment and patients for procedures utilizing sterile
technique. Assists Cardiologist during diagnostic cardiac
catheterizations according to established standards and procedures. Post
procedurally established hemostasis of arterial/venous puncture sites.
Maintains procedural event log. Participates in patient/family
education. Participates in Quality Assessment and improvement. May be
required to work flexible hours and overtime during peak periods.
Participates in on-call roster. Performs other duties as assigned by
Cath Lab Coordinator or Heart Program Director Culture of Excellence
