JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the Education Sales revenue, Education Sales Team development, and Education market development in North America. They also are a critical stakeholder as the subject matter expert for product and marketing decision making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Staff Development:
Train, direct, support, mentor and supervise Education Sales team members in selling Boardmaker products and messaging relationship to Tobii Dynavox products
Work with human resources on the process of recruiting and hiring new Education Sales Team members
Support, train and mentor all Education Sales Team members in their assigned territory on the Boardmaker Product Line, sales model, strategies, and goals.
Work with Education Sales Team Members to identify key call points, develop strategic prospecting and maintenance plans for accounts; and identify purchasing trends in the market.
Assist in maintaining Tobii Dynavox customer database by adding and updating information about all prospects within our CRM.
Evaluate and monitor all reviews of the Education Sales Team Members on an annual basis and set strategic goals to develop sales.
Develop materials to assist Education Sales Team Members when needed or provide requests to appropriate internal teams.

Strategic Planning:
Development of long term sales for the Education market channel .
Balance territories based on geographical potential, current staffing, and quotas. Analyze for staffing needs to propose long term strategic planning.
Participate in cross-functional team meetings to contribute to overall direction of the product, and adjust team accordingly.
Implement Tobii Dynavox vision and mission statements
Coordinate positive business initiatives through the assessment of communication flow, goals, and impact of strategies.Manage by Objectives that are clear to the employee.

Market Development
Develop and maintain relationships with key market partners
Support market development via facilitating customer feedback loop with product and marketing departments
National Account Development: identify key accounts and influencers within North America and co-develop with Account Managers
Advanced account development and recovery
Developing and supporting projects to deliver a positive customer journey
Reporting of market trends and collaboration with product management

Financial Management:
Education Sales Revenue goal attainment; meet and/or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
Forecast sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Monitor Education Sales Team sales activity on a daily/weekly basis to ensure activity is appropriate to generate adequate sales
Monitor Education Sales Team members expenses, keeping in line with Tobii-Dynavox policies

Organizational Management:
Work across multi-disciplinary teams to assure ensure correct and efficient communication across the organization. Must timely report into and out of various departmental groups.
Prioritize and manage corporate information with the knowledge of time sensitivity, political/legal ramifications, and confidentiality issues
Provide feedback on products and services needed in the field to Tobii-Dynavox
Ensure customer promotional activity through budgeting trade shows and local marketing keeping in mind ROI management.
Organize and participate in sales meetings for the Education Sales team as well as the overall North America Market team.
Other Special Projects as requested

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
BS or BA preferred or equivalent work experience
3-5 years management experience or a history of successful sales experience
Two years experience with SAAS sales beneficial
Experience with virtual sales and support beneficial
Experience with Boardmaker product required

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Excellent Interpersonal communication both oral and written with individuals and small to large groups.
Sensitivity to and ability to communicate effectively and to provide support to people of diverse cultures and backgrounds
Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
Ability to remain calm and focused while communicating in a stressful environment
Debate issues in a collegial and courteous manner and effectively participate in group discussions

COMPUTER SKILLS:
Knowledge of specific computer programs/applications: Microsoft and Salesforce recommended
Using a computer application to enter, manipulate, and format numerical data; insert, delete, and manipulate cells, rows, and create and save worksheets, charts, and graphs. (Spreadsheets)
Using a computer application to create, manipulate, edit and show virtual slide presentations

OTHER SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
Well versed and experienced in virtual communications and presence
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
