Job Description:
Beth Israel Lahey Health is excited to announce the opening of a new Urgent Care clinic in Middleboro, MA. The Urgent Care team is currently searching for Lead Advanced Practitioner (NP/PA) to provide clinical supervision and operational oversight of all departmental advanced practitioners, and to work with administrative leadership to implement process and clinical improvement.
Details:
- Full time; 40 hrs/week
- Growing practice; new location
- Responsible for orientation, training, and mentoring of newly hired Advanced Practitioners.
- Responsible for monitoring productivity
- Participates in interviewing and hiring additional APP staff
- In consultation with the Department Chair, provide input to performance reviews
- Attend regularly scheduled meetings with the department leadership team
- Some off shift work hours may be required
- Carrying a beeper as necessary may be required
- Perform various direct patient care tasks
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a Master’s in Nursing program or a Physician Assistant program
- Certification and current NP or PA license to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- DEA
- MCSR
